Site Conditions
The yard had rocks to clear and level, weeds, aging irrigation, and soil that needed amendment.
Problem
The homeowner wanted to replace water-hungry planting with drip-irrigated beds that qualified for a SoCal WaterSmart rebate and add a new planting area.
What We Did
We cleared and leveled the rocks, amended the soil, and created a new planting area with two 15-gallon trees, five ornamental edibles, and six ornamental plants. We enriched the citrus garden soil, repaired and upgraded the irrigation, and converted the rebate area to drip irrigation. We also removed weeds, added a swale, and finished with mulch and 20 plants.
