Rated 4.8 out of 5 from 16 reviews on Angi. Reviewers most often mention punctuality, plant and irrigation knowledge, clear cost breakdowns, and staying within budget.
Turf replacement and irrigation rebates: we handle the SoCalWaterSmart paperwork, from pre-approval through final documentation, and install the work to program rules. Typical turf rebates run about $2 per square foot, often more with local bonuses, but amounts vary by water agency and year. See our San Diego rebate guide in the Plantblog for the steps.
Zone Zero fire-resistant landscaping: Zone Zero is the first five feet around a home, where embers do the most damage. We build ember-resistant landscapes there with non-combustible hardscape, decomposed granite or gravel, and irrigated low-growing plants, and we remove dry brush and wood mulch that can feed a fire. Ask us to review the area around your home. Jeremy was trained in Zone Zero standards at the fire safety garden at San Diego Botanic Garden, one of San Diego’s premier fire-safety training areas, and has built large fire safety gardens.
Typical pricing: garden design and installation for an average-sized San Diego home usually runs about $10,000 to $35,000, and larger or fully custom projects cost more. Ongoing garden maintenance starts at $500 per month. Smaller one-off projects are usually $1,000 to $3,000. Every quote is itemized, so you can see what you are paying for.
