Fresh New Fruit Landscaping renovated a front yard with turf, rock, and plants in Lemon Grove, CA, in December 2025.
Site Conditions
The front yard had grass and lantana on an uneven grade. A corner and sidewalk island were left open after the first phase.
Problem
The grass was worn and the lantana was overgrown. The homeowner wanted a cleaner, lower-maintenance look, and the sidewalk island needed to be filled in.
What We Did
The work was completed in two phases:
Removed the grass and lantana.
Framed a semi-circle border, removed dirt, and leveled the area.
Laid weed block and installed 672 square feet of turf.
Added a pallet of boulders, small pebbles, small rocks, and decorative pavers.
Planted three 15-gallon lavender plants.
Filled the corner and sidewalk island with weed block and 3/4-inch rock.
Cleaned up the area and planted one 15-gallon rosemary and five 1-gallon aeoniums.
Result
The homeowner was happy with the results.
