Bacopa
This is an easy flowering groundcover type plant that does well in sun and shade. It trails or hangs from just about anywhere and will be happy to creep along the ground forming a mat. It doesn’t like intense sun, but can handle heavy shade, however in heavy shade the flowers will be less. For bacopa, consistent water is more important than heavy water. It can be trained to be a low water plant but will give more flowers if you give more water. The plants are inexpensive, and many growers have them for sale, so this is a good one to pick up at Home Depot on sale day.
